And that is precisely where truly inclusive education begins.
Neurodiversity in the Classroom is a training program designed to strengthen the competencies of teachers and education professionals, providing knowledge and practical tools to understand different neurocognitive profiles and respond more effectively to the individual needs of their students.
Over the course of 8 weeks and 32 hours of live online training, participants will progress from understanding neurodiversity to applying concrete strategies related to sensory processing, executive functions, communication, participation, positive support, accessibility, accommodations, and individualized planning.

Through interactive classes, practical workshops, case studies, reflection activities, and collaborative learning, participants will develop tools to:

Recognize different neurocognitive profiles and understand how sensory processing, regulation, and executive functions can influence learning and participation.
IDENTIFY
Observe needs, barriers, and support opportunities within the educational environment.
ADAPT
Develop communication, participation, accessibility, and adaptation strategies that respond to different ways of learning.
APPLY
Translate knowledge into concrete cases and educational situations.
PLAN
Develop individualized supports focused on student learning, participation, and well-being.

Weeks 1–2
Neurodiversity, Profiles, Sensory Processing, and Regulation
Build the foundation to understand the different ways students may process, experience, and respond to the educational environment.
Weeks 3–4
Executive Functions, Communication, and Participation
Explore how certain cognitive functions and communication styles can influence organization, interaction, participation, and the learning experience.
Weeks 5–6
Positive Support, UDL, and Accommodations
Turn understanding into action through support, accessibility, and adaptation strategies applicable to the educational environment.
Weeks 7–8
Adolescence, Well-being, and Individualized Planning
Integrate the knowledge gained to develop more individualized responses and create an Individual Support Plan applicable to real educational situations.
By the end of the program
BY THE END OF THE PROGRAM
Participants will have strengthened their ability to:
- Understand neurodiversity.
- Recognize different learning and participation needs.
- Apply inclusive and accessible strategies.
- Design accommodations with greater intentionality.
- Plan individualized supports.
The program includes an initial and final assessment, practical exercises, case analysis, and a final project that makes it possible to observe the evolution of learning and the ability to apply it in practice.
BECAUSE INCLUSION IS NOT ASKING THE STUDENT TO ADAPT TO A SINGLE WAY OF LEARNING.
